Marcella R. Gipper Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marcella R. Gipper of Waterloo, Iowa, born in Dunkerton, Iowa, who passed away on July 27, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin West and Ida B. Fettkether West; her husband Ivan M. Gipper; and her siblings, Dorothy West, Erma West Randall, Urban West, Louis West (Velma), Willis West (Marvella) and Robert West.
She is survived by: her sister-in-law Marjorie West; and her sibling's children, Deborah Rolbiecki (Allen), Pamela Schrock (Les), Theresa Lautenbach (John), Christine Gilbert (Rick), Daniel West (Tracy) and Glenda Kane (Rex). She is also survived by nieces and nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 9:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Edward Catholic Church (1423 Kimball Ave, Waterloo, IA 50701).
