She was predeceased by: her parents, John Westendorf and Sophia Westendorf (Brandt); her husband Wilbert "Bill" Drewes; and her siblings, Wilbur, Eldo, Lester, John Jr. Westendorf, Adelia Schroedermeier and Bernice Bauler.
She is survived by: her children, Ken Drewes (Barb) of Des Moines, Diane Steimel (Tim) of Gilbertville, Carol Sullivan (Ron) of Waterloo, Randy Drewes of Afton and Pam Drewes of Waterloo.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 17th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, May 18th 2026 at 9:30 AM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 18th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Ascension Lutheran Church (2211 Maynard Ave, Waterloo, IA 50701).
