With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marilyn Edsill of Waterloo, Iowa, who passed away on June 21, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Marilyn is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Marilyn's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parent Nels; her husband Ronald J. Edsill; her children, Ryan (Barbara) of Evansdale and Melissa Tiedemann (Terry) of Solon; her grandchildren, Gavin, Melinda Edsill, Henry and Kate Tiedemann; and her sisters, Avis Gaede (Russ) of Waterloo, Linda Conner (Dennis) of Glidden, Adele Ziegler and Arlys Linnenkamp. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service West Ridgeway (300 West Ridgeway Ave., Waterloo, IA 50701). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Ascension Lutheran Church (2211 Maynard Ave, Waterloo, IA 50701).
