He was predeceased by : his wife Alberta Iona Schnor; and his brother Elston Miller. He is survived by : his sons, Ronald Miller (Robin) of Mason City, Randall Miller (Taeko) of Tucson, AZ, Roger Miller (Kim) of Pella and Rick Miller (Amy) of Gilbert, AZ; his grandchildren, Rachel Heirigs (Joshua), Kimberly Skipworth (Aaron), Thomas Miller and Samuel Miller; his stepgrandchildren, Tyler Wolfe and Drew Boldt; his great grandchildren, Jack, Molly Heirigs and McCoy Skipworth; and his brother Robert Miller (Cheryl) of Waterloo.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 24th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church (4820 Oster Pkwy, Cedar Falls, IA 50613). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 24th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, May 24th 2024 at the Memories Cemetery.
