He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Carlson of Hudson, IA; his son Luke; his daughter-in-law Emily Piburn of Waterloo, IA; his grandson Thomas; his brother Don; his sister-in-law Jo Piburn of Grand Junction, CO; his sister Carol; and his brother-in-law Sonny Thonen of Wichita, KS. He is also survived by feline companions; and many nieces, nephews.
