Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Mary Shannon Pexa of Waterloo, Iowa, who passed away at the age of 66, on April 9, 2024. She was predeceased by : her parents, James "Patrick" McCarron and Patricia McCarron (Owens). She is survived by : her husband Bret Gailey; her children, Anna Pexa, Nathan Pexa (Heather) and Mike Pexa; her siblings, Marty McCarron, Tammy Rossow (George), Casey McCarron and Dan McCarron (Joyce Carpenter); and her granddaughters, Ava Elizabeth, Madyson Kaylyn, Kylee Karen and Harper Shannon. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Majestic Moon Hall (1955 Locke Ave, Waterloo, IA 50702).

Memorial contributions may be directed in Shannon's name to her family which will be later designated elsewhere.
