He was predeceased by: his brother Luke. He is survived by: his wife Alisa Smith of Waterloo; his parents, Marcus Engelhardt and Joanne Engelhardt of Des Moines; his brother JohnDaniel Engelhardt (Ali) of Wisconsin; his father-in-law Greg Smith (Rachel) of Johnston; his brother-in-law Matty Tate-Smith (Damien) of Ankeny; his nephews, Dakari, Elijah, André and Kingston Tate-Smith; and his close friends, Jimi Wilson and Dennis Lorey, Jr. (Buddy).
