He was predeceased by: his parents, Neil William Kahn, Sr. and Elva Marie Kahn (White); his nephews, Reed Holland and Daniel Budweg; and his brother-in-law Dennis Paul.
He is survived by: his pets, Oliver, Angel-Bella and Bodie; his wife Julianne Gardner of Waterloo; his children, Rachel Michele Kahn (Amanda Martin) of Encinitas, CA and Brian Gardner Kahn of Waterloo; and his sisters, Sherryl Paul, Karen Kahn of Charles City, Evelyn Budweg, Mary Reisner (Curt) of New Hampton and Kimberly Havens (Amy Charnley) of Omaha, NE. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
