With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Patricia Louise Stanhope of Waterloo, Iowa, who passed away on August 4, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Arildsen and Gladys Arildsen (Dawson); her husband Edward Stanhope; and her son-in-law Michael Morelock. She is survived by: her children, Jeff Stanhope (Jan) of Washburn, IA, Julie Stanhope of Lillian, AL and Jill Baker (Roger) of Waverly, IA; her grandchildren, Todd Stanhope (Manda), Bethany Stanhope, Bryan Morelock, Jackie Mitchell (Mark), Joe Baker, Julie Hanawalt (Daniel) and Jon Baker; her great grandchildren, Sawyer, Lawson, Meadow Stanhope, Calvin, Colin, Conor Hanawalt and John Michael Mitchell; and her brother Dick Arildsen.
Memorials may be directed to the First Presbyterian Church or Cedar Valley Hospice.
