It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Reynold L. Spear of Waterloo, Iowa, who passed away on May 22, 2026, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Reynold leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James L. Spear Sr. and Margaret K. Spear (Michaels); and his siblings, Leslie, Larry, Lloyd, James Jr., Pat Sharar and Sue Eidell. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
