With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard John Vohsman of Waterloo, Iowa, born in Nashua, Iowa, who passed away on January 19, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Vohsman and Augusta Vohsman (Hoffman); his wife Jane Albaugh of Michael's Catholic Church; his son Kevin Vohsman; his sons-in-law, Ray Konken and Randy Kelleher; and his siblings, Lucille Shinstine (Clarence), Josephine Frascht (Gus), Phyllis O'Neill (Charles), Lawrence Vohsman (Edith) and B. T. Vohsman (Eleanore).
He is survived by: his children, Debra Konken, Donna Nabholz (Tim), David Vohsman (Andrea), Janice Kelleher (Warren), Patricia Kelleher, Mark Vohsman (Jenny) and Kristi Forbes (John); and his sister Rose Meek (Dave). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family for charitable designation.
