He is survived by: his children, Amy Mayer of Omaha, Nebraska, David Mayer of Waterloo and Steven Mayer (Renee) of Decorah; his siblings, Tony Mayer (Linda) of Omaha, Nebraska and Mary Jenney (Bill) of Minneapolis, Minnesota; his grandchildren, Kasey Bennett (John) and Koy Matthews; his stepgrandchildren, Rob Larson (Beth), Brandon Larson and Erin Larson; his great grandchildren, Vyvyan and Clarke Bennett; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Lily, Levi, Liam and Layla Larson.
