He is survived by: his siblings, Richard of Waterloo, Randall Fencl (Tamara) of Waterloo, Judy Roethler (Michael) of Cedar Falls, Colleen Stafford (Mike) of Cedar Falls and Barbara Fencl of Waterloo; and his friend Bruce Wilson (Nadine).

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Tower Park (4140 Kimball Ave, Waterloo, IA 50701). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
