She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Schmitz and Agnes Schmitz (Nugent); her husband Fred "Sonny" Otstott; her son John Otstott; and her siblings, Rose Metcalf, Marge Ricotta, Mary Lutgen, Carol Schmitz and Michael Schmitz.
She is survived by: her brothers, John Schmitz and Dick (Mary).
