With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rodney Kavalier (Waterloo, Iowa), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 5, 2026 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard "Dick" Kavalier Sr. and Mary Ann Helm Kavalier; and his brother Richard Kavalier Jr.. He is survived by: his significant other Mary Jo Kavalier; his son Michael Kavalier (Kelly); his grandchild Ames of Stillwater, OK; his children, Dr. Ryan Kavalier of Columbia, MO and Kristin Nieder (Miles); his granddaughter Madeline JoAnn of Butler, MO; his siblings, Randall Kavalier (Deb) of Altoona, IA and Roxanne Topliff (John) of Waterloo; his sister-in-law Donna Kavalier (Swedish) of Dysart; and his siblings, Barry and Eva Hőgstrőm. He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
