He is survived by: his wife Barbara Brickman of Waterloo; his son Brendan Olson of Illinois; his brothers, Oral Olson (Carol) of Arizona and Richard Olson (Mary) of Illinois; his stepson Gregory Brown (Katie) of Des Moines; and his aunt Jean Banbury. He is also survived by many nieces nephews and cousins.
