It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald Kastli of Waterloo, Iowa, born in Oelwein, Iowa, who passed away on September 9, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John J. Kastli and Mary A. Richards Kastli; his son Kurt Kastli; his grandson Travis Cain; and his siblings, Duwayne "Dewey" Kastli, Robert Kastli, Roy Kastli, Rose Kappmeyer and Rita Kastli.
He is survived by: his wife Leona Bell Beason of Waterloo; and his children, Tammy Cain (Dennis) of New Hampton, Debra Bodecker (Barry) of Evansdale and Robert Kastli (Diane) of Evansdale. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
