With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sharon Schotter of Waterloo, Iowa, who passed away on April 14, 2024 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Lloyd Niedert and Doris Gunderson Niedert; and her daughter Amanda Jo Schotter. She is survived by : her husband John Schotter of Waterloo; her sons, Casey Schotter of Waterloo and Bob Schotter (Caity) of Waterloo; her grandchildren, Lucas and Liliana; her siblings, Dennis Niedert (Linda), Dianne Popenhagen (Gayland) of Cedar Falls and Julie Chase (Hal) of Adel; her parents-in-law, Jim and Pat Schotter of Waterloo; and her brother-in-law Dave Schotter (Jane) of Texas. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Tower Park (4140 Kimball Ave, Waterloo, IA 50701). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
