As Shirley Lou departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Shirley Lou. Though Shirley Lou may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Maust and Marie Maust (Clough); her husband LaVern Kahler; her son Chuck (LaVern Jr.); and her great grandchild Maggie Kesl.
She is survived by: her children, Penny Peters (Scott), Jolene "Jo" Kahler (Madelon Harms), Rhonda Kling (Larry) and Jon Kahler (June); and her sister Sandy McLean. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren.
