He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Sherburne and Jean Sherburne (Stevenson). He is survived by: his close friend Joyce Sturgill; his children, Robert Sherburne (Leanne) and Kate Kitzman (Dennis); his grandsons, William Sherburne, Wesley Kitzman and Daniel Kitzman; his brothers, Alan Sherburne (Nancy) and Philip Sherburne (Claudia); and the mother of his children Pam Moore.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Memorial Park Cemetery (3430 W 4th St, Waterloo, IA 50701). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
