He was predeceased by: his parents, James Gilligan and Thelma Gilligan; his brothers, Tom Gilligan and Patrick "Rick" Gilligan; and his sister-in-law Mary Gilligan.
He is survived by: his sister Beth Nagle (Mark). He is also survived by many nieces & nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Edward Catholic Church (1423 Kimball Ave, Waterloo, IA 50702). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
