She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Kirkeby and Cora Evenrud Kirkeby; and her husband Roger Holder. She is survived by: her daughter Melinda Meyne of Cedar Falls; her grandsons, Seth Meyne (Lynn) of Hubert, NC and Samuel Meyne of Arlington, VA; and her son-in-law David Meyne of Cedar Falls.
