In loving memory of William D. Winder of Waterloo, Iowa, who departed this world on April 24, 2024 at the age of 90. William D. leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Dewey William and Gena Purkapile Winder; his wife Ardella Louise Bueter; and his sister Maxine Baker. He is survived by : his nieces and nephews, David (Donna), John Baker (Coleen), Nancy, Margaret Baker (Charles Roberts), Kerrie McBride (Robert Riley) and Lori McBride; and his close friends, Jackie, Gary Carter, Judy Debe, Larry, Sandra Woodward and Daryl Schumacher.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service. A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church (614 Randolph St, Waterloo, IA 50701).
