With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cletus George Myers of Waucoma, Iowa, who passed away on April 10, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Loretta Myers (Gebel) and Clifford Loretta; his wife Phoebe; and his siblings, Donald Myers and Arlene Schmitt.
He is survived by: his children, Ronald Myers Sumner (Teresa) and Donna Karnik Fort (David); his grandchildren, Dustin (Kristy Kelly), Danielle Wenthold (Sam), Kory, Karly and Kassidy Karnik; his great grandchildren, Morgan and Maci Blagen Wenthold; his stepchildren, Nicki Cunniff (Andrew), Jenna Lenz (Dustin) and Jesse Kohl (Katie); and his brother-in-law Alfred Schmitt. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and step children and step grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the St. Mary Catholic Church (218 3rd St NW, Waucoma, IA 52171). A prayer was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Parish Scripture Service. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Mary Catholic Church (218 3rd St NW, Waucoma, IA 52171).
