He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Hoffert and Betty Hoffert; his brother Mark Hoffert; and his parents-in-law, Keith Jenkins and Mary Ann Jenkins.
He is survived by: his wife Rae Ann Hoffert of Newton, IA; his children, Andy Hoffert (Becky) of Norman, OK and Heidi Woollums (Wayne) of Newton, IA; his grandchildren, Delaney Woollums of Newton, IA and Ty Woollums of Newton, IA; his brother Jon Hoffert (Kristy) of Ankeny, IA; his sister-in-law Susan Hoffert of Newton, IA; and his aunt Martha Froah (Dale) of Newton, IA. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
