He was predeceased by: his parents, Christian L. DenOuden and Margretta C. DenOuden; his wife Diana K. DenOuden; and his mother-in-law Christian P. (Lois H. Hansen). He is survived by: his daughter Kris K. Green (Whit); his grandchildren, Daniel D. Green and Julia K. Green; his son Charles D. DenOuden (Jenny); his grandson Dane C. DenOuden; his daughter Julie M. DenOuden; his grandson Jacob T. Rietz (Lauren); and his siblings, Gretchen Bradt and Dr. Christian K. DenOuden (Sue). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, extended family members and many dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at the Iles Westover Chapel (6337 Hickman Rd, Des Moines, IA 50322).
