Eric W. Shaffer Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eric W. Shaffer of Waukee, Iowa, born in Fort Benning, Georgia, who passed away on March 15, 2024, at the age of 54, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Jamie "Jim" Shaffer and Joyce Shaffer. He is survived by : his brother John; his godparents, Warren and Sue Puck; his friends, Carol Smith (Jewett), Dick, Steve, Kim, Matt, Erin, Sergeant Mark McKinney and McKinney; his caregiver Carmen; and his close friend David. He is also survived by extended family and many dear friends.

Memorial contributions may be directed towards Eric's Place at Valley Community Center in West Des Moines.
