Jerry leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Jerry’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Jerry will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Colby Wright and Norma Wright (Helton); his wife Joyce Bentall; and his sister Loretta. He is survived by: his children, Brian Wright (Denise), Kelli Vellinga (Lane) and Kyle Wright. He is also survived by four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 9:00 AM and from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Iles Brandt Chapel (1301 Ash St, Dallas Center, IA 50063).
