It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lorraine Kile of Waukee, Iowa, who passed away on September 27, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lorraine Kile to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clem Mitchell and Vera Mitchell (Hardisty); her husband Wayne E. Kile; and her siblings, Marilyn Fairholm (Marvin) and Maurice Mitchell (Phyllis).
She is survived by: her children, Peggy Lynch (Doug) and Michael Kile (Jody) of Des Moines; her grandchildren, Andrew Lynch (Julie), Stefanie Neumer (Chris), Misty Lynch, Lindsey Kile and Aaron Kile (Maggie); her great grandchildren, Sofia, Alexa Neumer, Emma and Jackson Lynch; and her brother Bill Mitchell (Sharon).
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home - Winterset Chapel (1823 N John Wayne Dr, Winterset, IA 50273). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be directed to the Winterset First United Methodist Church or the Madison County Genealogy Society.
