Michael Foster Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael Foster of Waukee, Iowa, who passed away on October 12, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville Foster and Thelma Foster (Dewey); his great grandchildren, Sawyer and Alder; his siblings, Dennis Foster, Stephen Foster, Jim Foster and Lynn Van Maaren; and his siblings' children, Alan Foster and Jillian Foster.
He is survived by: his wife Diann Foster of Waukee; his children, Michelle Nail (Chuck) of Pilot Point, TX, Stephanie Keller (Charlie) of Urbandale, Matt Foster (Jaime) of Earlham and Jeremy Foster of Waukee; his grandchildren, Cory, Eric, Garrett, Morgan, Daniel, Raina, Mia, Avrielle, Hannah, Miles, Isaiah and Carson; and his great grandchildren, Deven, Alex, Millieanne, Willow, Archer, Everest and Riley. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Wallace Family Funeral Home and Crematory (1115 E 19th St N, Newton, IA 50208-2539). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Iowa Veterans Cemetery.
Memorials to Iowa Paralyzed Veterans of America can be left at the funeral home.
