She was predeceased by: her parents, Burton Steele and Edna Marguerite Romick (Dalziel); her husband Dr. Lewis Zager; her son Gene Zager; and her siblings, Barbara Streittmatter, John Romick and Bruce Romick.
She is survived by: her sons, Randall Zager (Victoria) of Star and Bruce Zager (DiAnn); her daughter-in-law Gail Zager of Bettendorf, IA.; her grandchildren, Meka Crowell (Grant), Zachary Zager, Tara Hall (Nic), Matthew Zager (Allison), Anne Zager, Aryn Lloyd (Ben), Amy Kinney (Troy) and Heidi Dalke; her stepgrandchildren, Jeanie Rae (Hugh), Bob Paul (Stephanie), Sean Paul (Moira Kelly), Chris Paul (Shannon) and Elizabeth Paul (Chris Morris); her great grandchild Kira Crowell (Steve Mammano); and her stepgrandchildren, Lily Crowell, Alyssa Ingham, Ethan, Emma Hall, Britta, Klara Lloyd, Samuel and Sarah Zager. She is also survived by step-great-grandchildren and step-great-great grandchildren.
