She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Starkey and Beulah Starkey (Bray); her husband Dale Johnson; her sons, Jeffery, Greggory and Terry Johnson; her siblings, Jerry, Ricke, Lynn, Bradley Starkey and Marilyn Meyer; her siblings-in-law, Ralph Dougherty, Dixie Starkey and Kimberly Starkey; and her nephew Patrick Dougherty.
She is survived by: her children, Kevin Johnson Waukon (Barb), Brenda Jones (Mark) of Harpers Ferry and Belva Wemark (Jeff) of Ridgeway, IA; her grandchildren, Josh Johnson, Bridget Steinfeldt (Drew), Kannon Grotegut (Corina), Kelli Grotegut (Rick Mathis), Krystal Grotegut (Tom Gregor), Leah Jones (Mitch Regan), Ryan Jones (Jessica), Jenna Hebel (Ronnie), Zachary Kerndt (Lauren Regan), Makayla Patterson (Kyle Falck) and Brayden Wemark; her daughter-in-law Deb Johnson of Monona; her sister Janice Dougherty of Waukon; and her sisters-in-law, Kathleen Starkey of Waukon, Abby Hoak of Waukon, Dolores Johnson of Waukon and Janette Johnson of Postville. She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers and gifts memorials are preferred.
