He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Schoenthal and Caroline Schoenthal (Wacker); his wife Luella Marie Schlitter; and his sister Dorothy Klocke (Leo). He is survived by: his children, Cheryl Grady (Glen) of Neillsville, WI, Jerry Schoenthal (Carol) of Waukon, Kaye Engelhardt (Jeff) of Charles City, IA and Todd Schoenthal (Kim Rathbone) of Waukon. He is also survived by 11 grand-children; 15 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Martin-Grau Funeral Home & Cremation Service (202 Allamakee St NW, Waukon, IA 52172). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
