We are sad to announce that on June 8, 2025, at the age of 87, DuWayne Snitker of Waukon, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Snitker and Wilhemina "Minnie" Snitker (Flage); his siblings, Donald (Loretta), Junior (Phyllis), Lloyd (Joyce), David (Janet Snitker) of Dave's Feed, LaVonne (Wayne Brandt), LeRoy (Jane) and Earl (Dennis Snitker); his siblings-in-law, Patricia Bruns, Steven Bruns and Ronda Thorstenson (Wayne); his granddaughters, Sarah Schaller and Chantel Snitker; his parents-in-law, Herb and Marie Bruns; and his stepmother-in-law Helen Bruns.
He is survived by: his wife Laurayne; his children, Dawn Farley (Gary) of Waukon, Jeff Snitker (Pat) of Waukon, Jon Snitker (Nancy) of Waukon, Kim Schaller (Greg) of Waukon, Ted Snitker (Lisa) of Waukon and Niki Tilleraas (Troy) of Osceola, WI.; and his siblings-in-law, Mary Lou, Sheila Snitker, Kenny Bruns (Kathy), Bob Bruns (Lori), Ronnie Bruns (Colleen), Linda Albright (Charles), Cheryl Roe (Curt), Mary Bruns and Nancy (Bob). He is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 39 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred.
