With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Frank Leroy Sivesind of Waukon, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 24, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Sivesind and Olive Sivesind (Tolander); his brother Gordon; his siblings-in-law, Donna Sivesind and Kenneth Troendle; and his grandson Ben Kerndt.
He is survived by: his wife Carol; his children, Dan Sivesind (Jane), Lori Anderson (Terry), Mary Kerndt (Brad) and Peggy Sivesind (Perry Fahey); his great grandchildren, Leeta (Scott), Votsmier, Lars (Melissa), Landon Sivesind, Leslie Courtney (Blake), Ike Anderson, Eve Anderson, Katie (Brendon) and Kacher (Drake); his siblings, Correen Troendle, Gene Sivesind (Jane), Marian Olson, Alice Terbeest (Dave) and Ann Kvam (James); and his siblings-in-law, Roger and Janet Kruger. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Veterans Memorial Hospital or Zalmona Presbyterian Church cemetery fund, both in Waukon.
