He is survived by: his children, Bill Johanningmeier (Marcy) of LaPorte City, IA, Eric Johanningmeier (Lita) of Troutdale, OR, Jim Johanningmeier (Renea) of Waukon, Robert Johanningmeier (Lindsey) of Waukon and Heidi Johanningmeier of Grayslake, IL.; his wife Linda Lee LaRue of Waukon; his siblings, Shirley Nelson of Cedar Rapids and Lloyd Johanningmeier of Monona; his siblings-in-law, Kathryn Gronberg of North Branch, MN and Dave LaRue of Orange, MA; and his aunt Betty Kleinow of Mc Gregor, IA. He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
