She was predeceased by: her parents, Ted R. Kelly and Gertrude Kelly (Wachter); her brother Tade; her husband Vince Mathis; her grandson Jason Berg; her great grandchild Devan Beltz; and her son-in-law Mike Snitker.

She is survived by: her children, Elaine Bitterman (Jim) of Overgaard, AZ, Glen Mathis of Waukon, Jane Snitker of Waukon, Marilyn Thies (Jim) of Waukon, Peggy Mathis of Waukon and Paul Mathis (Karen) of Waukon; her grandchildren, Chris Thies (Annalie), Beth Beltz (Greg), Brent Bitterman, Kelly Deeney (James), Micah Miller (David), Karli Kuboushek (Sawyer) and Tanner Mathis; her great grandchildren, Sydney Trussell (Will), Landon Thies, Logan Beltz (Cassidy), Dillan Beltz, Reid, Ava, Mya Deeney, Hailey, Andrew Miller, Banks and Lenni Kuboushek; and her great great grandchild Charlotte Beltz.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the family and will be designated by the family at a later date.
