With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Ward of Waukon, Iowa, who passed away on February 25, 2023 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Emmett Schwartzhoff and Lillian Schwartzhoff (Doubek); her former life partner Duane Anderson; her husband Donald Ward; her siblings, Theresa McCormick, Dorie Bulman, Aileen Delaney, Ramona Ward, Jim and Donnie Schwartzhoff; and her siblings-in-law, Joann, Shirley Schwartzhoff and Jim McCormick.
She is survived by : her children, Linda Anderson of Dubuque, IA, Scott Anderson (Beverly) of Marion, IA, Richard Duane Anderson (Melissa) of Port Charlotte, FL, Brian Ward (Michelle) of Denton, TX, John Ward (Kelly) of Springville, IA and Christine Mundt (Troy) of North Liberty, IA; her grandchildren, Dave Hoskins, Jenni Toberman, Holly Oberhoffer, Brian Berntgen, Brett, Sarah Anderson, Renee Engebritson, Kelsey Cleve, Allan Anderson, Ashley, Josh, Jeremy Ward, Ellie, Joey Ward, Tyler and Rachel Mundt; her sisters, Carol Hancock (Bill), Judy Byrnes (Dennis), Mavis Wishcop, Karen Gross (Dave) and Kathy Schwartzhoff; and her brothers-in-law, Pat Delaney and Gary Ward. She is also survived by 24 great-grandchildren.
