Rita Severson Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 9, 2025, at the age of 96, Rita Severson of Waukon, Iowa passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Rita Severson to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Knuppe and Hazel Knuppe (Brainard); her daughter Helen Knuppe; her husband Harold; and her siblings, Roy Knuppe, Ruby Wickum (Knuppe), Ruth Waddington (Knuppe), Dorothy Dennison (Knuppe), Frederick Knapp and Janice Thielen (Knapp).
She is survived by: her siblings, Hazel Kout (Joe) of Hazleton, IA and Roger Knapp of Thailand. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Old West Paint Creek Lutheran Church (1306 Maud Rd, Waukon, IA 52172). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
