Sharon Decker Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sharon Decker of Waukon, Iowa, who passed away on May 26, 2025 at the age of 82. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sharon Decker to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Irene Steiber and Donald Steiber of Lansing, IA; her husband Robert; her grandchild Shawn Haberichter; her great grandchild Abel Ludeking; her son-in-law Tom Haberichter; and her sisters, Beverly Grady, Ruth Russell and Mona Shelton.
She is survived by: her children, Sarah Egan (Pat), Nancy Haberichter, Susan Troendle (Ron), Steve Decker (Mick Palas), Nadine Miller (Rick) and Bobbie Jo Cowell (Dave); and her brother Kenny Steiber (Judy). She is also survived by her 18 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Martin-Grau Funeral Home & Cremation Service (202 Allamakee St NW, Waukon, IA 52172). A memorial service was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the United Methodist Church (490 Center St, Lansing, IA 52151).
Sharon was proud to donate framed puzzles to fundraisers and for grandchildren's rooms.
