With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Theresa Elizabeth Anderson of Waukon, Iowa, who passed away on July 24, 2025 at the age of 103. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Theresa has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Aloysius "Louis" Wetzel and Sarah Wetzel; her husband Paul D. Anderson; and her son Lawrence J. Anderson. She is survived by: her sister Angela; and her children, Susan McCollough (Mark Stapels) of Crystal River, FL, Nancy Nissen of Beverly Hills, FL and Steven Anderson (Kathryn Emorey) of Bettendorf, IA. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; and 26 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Patrick Catholic Church (101 2nd St SW, Waukon, IA 52172). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
