It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ardith Ellen Hartman of Waverly, Iowa, born in Kalamazoo, Michigan, who passed away on April 11, 2024, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Ardith may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of our lives, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Claude Fenstermaker and Grace Fenstermaker (Coleman); and her husband Delbert. She is survived by : her children, Doug Hartman (Nancy) of Ankeny, Deanna Miller (Rick) of Highland Park, IL and Gary Hartman of Waverly. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Redeemer Lutheran Church (2001 W Bremer Ave, Waverly, IA 50677). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 2:30 PM.
