She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Rieckenberg and Laura Rieckenberg (Waltemate); her husband Will of Paul's Lutheran Church; her daughter Sharon Kay Leisinger; her siblings, Mary Ann Nordman (Loren), Lavern Rieckenberg (Shirley), Bruce Rieckenberg and Karen Sue Rieckenberg; and her grandson Benjamin.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy Gaulke (Lori Livingston) of Iowa City, Deb Swinton (Val) of Clarksville, Doug Leisinger (Dawn) of Waverly and Scott Leisinger (Molly) of Cedar Falls; her grandchildren, Trent, Brandon, Laura, Spencer, Sam, Andrea and Jacob; her great grandchildren, Drake, Ellie, Theo, Brodie, Lucas and Natalie; her great great grandchildren, Aiden and Theo; and her brother Duane Rieckenberg (Janet) of Ionia.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to St. Paul's Lutheran School, Wartburg College or Bartels Lutheran Retirement Community.
