She was predeceased by: her husband George Vette; her sister Nancy; and her son-in-law Doug Cannegieter. She is survived by: her children, Cindy Jones (Doug) of Fernald, Jana Cannegieter of Waverly and Brett Vette (Robin) of Waverly; and her grandchildren, Colin, Dana, Evan, Emily, Chelsea, Ryan, Clayton, Erin, Thea, Doug and Cora. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Kaiser-Corson Funeral Home (218 2nd St SE, Waverly, IA 50677). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church (301 1st St NW, Waverly, IA 50677).
Memorials may be directed to the family for later designation.
