He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Calease and Ella Calease (Schilling); and his brother-in-law Leland Metz (Red). He is survived by: his wife Ellen Vada Maloy; his daughters, Deanna Williams (Allan) of Plainfield, IA, Cindy Weckwerth (Jim) of Stillwater, MN, Cheryl Fox (David) of Waverly, IA and Sara Demuth (Chris) of Ottumwa, IA.; his grandchildren, Jessica Williams Falbrová, Josh Williams (Johnelle), Mitch Williams (Britany), Joseph Weckwerth, Analeese Weckwerth, Nick Langer, Gabrielle Estel (Kyle), Hannah Calease Fox (Sawyer Herman), Lauren Calease Fox, Brenna Demuth and Avery Demuth; his great grandchildren, Kinsley, Adelyn, Caedence, Jameson, Declan, Maddox, Everett Williams, Christopher, Natasha, Wyatt Langer and Owen Hanson; and his siblings, Dean Calease, Janice Metz, Lloyd Calease (Patricia), Lee Calease (Patty), Jerry Calease (Kathy), Carolyn Dirksen (Rich) and Shirley Clark (Dan).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, June 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Kaiser-Corson Funeral Home (218 2nd St SE, Waverly, IA 50677). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Trinity United Methodist Church (1400 W Bremer Ave, Waverly, IA 50677).
