He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas M. Farran and Verna D. Farran (Thompson); and his brother-in-law Dean Robertson. He is survived by: his son Kent Farran (Elizabeth) of Waverly; his grandchildren, Jacob Farran (Jordan) and Mikaela Farran (Mason Swager); his great grandchildren, Dakota and Paisley Farran; and his sister Judith Robertson of Cedar Rapids, Iowa..
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Kaiser-Corson Funeral Home (218 2nd St SE, Waverly, IA 50677). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Waverly Area Veterans Post.
