He was predeceased by: his parents, Erhart E. Zemke and Lois Zemke (Trott); his brother Robert Zemke; and his nephew Jonathan Zemke. He is survived by: his brother Warren Zemke (Barbara) of Waverly; his sister-in-law Joan Zemke of Florida; his nephews, Steven Zemke of Florida, Daniel Zemke of Florida, Wayne Zemke of Houston and Mark Zemke (Suzanne) of California; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Camille Zemke of Texas, Margot Zemke of California and Miles Zemke of California; and his close friend Lilah Malosky.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Bartels Good Shepherd Chapel (1922 5th Ave NW, Waverly, IA 50677).
