He is survived by: his wife Lynda Hassman of Waverly; his children, Nikki Anders (Adam) of Agoura Hills, CA and Cameron Hassman (Mary); his grandsons, Aaron and Noah Anders; his sisters, Vernelle Malven (George) of Maynard, IA and Lynae Stech (Glenn) of Waterloo; and his siblings-in-law, Loyce Dumke (Jerry) of Cedar Falls, IA and Curt Hansen (Sandy) of Waverly, IA..
