In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Helen had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Helen may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Maassel and Amelia Maassel (Arps); and her husband Arnold. She is survived by: her children, James (Colleen), Timothy (Rebecca), Stephen (Garnet), Daniel, Ruth and Rachel. She is also survived by four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kaiser-Corson Funeral Home (218 2nd St SE, Waverly, IA 50677). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church (301 1st St NW, Waverly, IA 50677).
