Ida Mae Schloemer Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ida Mae Schloemer of Waverly, Iowa, who passed away on April 12, 2026, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Hoblit and Leola Hoblit (Tatum); her former husband Russell Goodner; her husband Jack Schloemer of John's Lutheran Church; her sisters, Frances, Irma and Ona; and her stepdaughter Marcia Schloemer.

She is survived by: her children, Audrey Malik (Walt) of Edwards and Gary Goodner (Beryl) of Rochester, Minnesota; and her stepchildren, Mike Schloemer (Sandy) of Knoxville, Mark Schloemer (Jean) of Waverly, Matt Schloemer (Wanda Reese) of Sugarland, Texas, Marilyn Schultz (Keith Diekevers) of Spirit Lake and Michele Fischer (Jim) of Waverly, Iowa. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
